About the Academy

The Lucian Green Academy (LGA) is a non-profit unaccredited educational and religious institution, which currently offers interdisciplinary qualifications and subjects in philosophy, computer science, education and meditation.  Qualifications that are offered are the Certificate IV in Training and Education, which is the industry standard in education and Certificate IV and Diploma in Creative Philosophy (including Certificate IV in Training and Education), which trains students to become Philosophers.  Short courses that are currently offered are Lucianic Meditation Mantra, Lucianic Meditation Sutra, Lucianic Meditaiton Yoga, Pedagogy X, which examines the X axis as a perspective on earning A, Pedagogy Y which examines the Y axis as a perspective on earning A, and Autoluna 1:1, which examines the philosophical theme of stability.  The short courses are markedly different from those like them, because the volunteer trainer will also tutor the student until his or her work is of A grade standard.

Lucian Green, a graduate in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Melbourne and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment graduate from Complex Training Academy,  established the academy to increase critical thinking skills, quantitative mathematical abilities and moral reasoning for graduates.  You may read more about Lucian below.
The Academy’s Philosophy
Central to LGA is the emphasis on personal furtherment, a sense of caringness and engaging with the world.  Through meditation, students can increase their self awareness, confidence, and cognitive abilities.

Also stressed in the examination of ourselves and others as philosophers.  Through training in writing and critically assessing algorithms, which are step-by-step instructions that can be used to program computers, students are encouraged to logically examine abstract ideas.
